Kansas Cattlemen’s Association Cattle Day August 15, 2015

The Kansas Cattlemen’s Association (KCA) in conjunction with Schreiber Red Angus is hosting a field day on Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Soldier, KS. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. with free BQA Certification offered by Dr. Dave Rethorst of the Beef Cattle Institute.

Jody Holthaus with Meadowlark Extension will give a presentation regarding brush control.

Doctors Don and Amy Sunday will discuss the Veterinary Feed Directive. Live skid steer attachment demonstrations will take place courtesy of HSB Welding & Fabrication. A demonstration: Timed AI, Its place in Industry, will be presented by Kelly Kennedy.

The meeting is free and open to the public. KCA requests that you RSVP to 785-238-1483 or via email to cowsrus@kansascattlemen.com to ensure enough food for all attendees.
